Kids and laptops - what is the right age to start computer education? My kids have an older desktop computer in a common area that is theirs. They also have an old android phone that they play kid friendly apps on. They are no longer allowed on my computer. They also are not allowed on the Ipad, laptop or any adults phone since they have their own. My youngest will be turning 5 soon and she is getting a LeapPad for her birthday, I think that is plenty at this age.
