Dapper Snappers Big Kids Belt Review and Giveaway

Posted by Valerie's Reviews at 5:22 PM

Imagine this… You’re getting the kids dressed in the morning and discover that, lo and behold, your smallest darling has had a nighttime growth spurt and all his pants are too short. “Thank goodness for hand-me-downs,” you think as you raid your preschooler’s outgrown clothes from last year.

You slide them up and snap them, concentrating on the cuffs, delighted to see they are the correct length…until you let go of the clasp and the waist shimmies down to the poor child’s thighs! Ugh…the length is good but the waist is too big.

Solution: The mom-invented Dapper Snapper.

I have this exact problem with my girls! If the pants fit in the waist they are way too short but if they fit in length the waist is too big - I just can't win! Now that we have our Dapper Snappers Big Kids belt we no longer have this problem.

We received a belt in chocolate brown. I chose this color because it goes with almost everything but the belts come in a variety of colors as well as fun prints. The belt is made much like a suspender and is adjustable so it grows with your child which is awesome.

On the girls belt the buckle interlocks like a puzzle which I think is very fashionable (and my 7 yr old just thinks its cool). It took a little practice buckling and unbuckling but she got it after a few tries.

This is my daughters favorite belt and I will be purchasing one for my younger daughter as well (we have belt envy now at our house).

BUY IT: You can purchase this Big Kids Belt on the Dapper Snappers website.

I would probably pick neutral colors for my 2.5 year old super skinny daughter since we're having another this summer who will probably need them too. Seriously, what a fantastic product idea!

I think they are great. My son and daughter are both super skinny. I bought a navy blue one for my son. I would love a black one.

These seem very helpful. Every little kid needs one and I'd pick brown for it's versatility!

My 4 year old son needs one! He's in that in-between stage between a size 4 and size 5 pants so he really NEEDS a belt! We'd probably need a dark blue belt!

My daughter needs these belts-all her pants are too big around the waist! :) I'd choose brown or black, most likely.

I think these belts are great! They look easy for the kids to do on their own. My son is 4 and we have the problem of pants fitting in length but they are huge in the waist. He gets frustrated with the belt he has now because he can't do it on his own so I think this one would be perfect.
