GattiTown Austin Review

Sponsored by GattiTown and Austin Kids Guide.

We had the opportunity to head out to GattiTown in Austin for their Back to School Bash.

They have a pretty extensive buffet with pizza, salad, pasta and even desserts. They had a good variety of pizza out so everyone was able to get what they wanted. The salad bar had a wide variety from the usual to pasta salad, fruit and more. They had a few different options on the pasta bar as well.

There were a few themed rooms to pick from as to where you wanted to eat. A kid friendly room, a sports room and a quieter room as well.

While we were eating a balloon artist came around and made balloons for the girls. These were free as part of the Back to School Bash. A lion for Natalie and a flower for Elle.

After we were done eating we headed to the game room and played some games. GattiTown has a wide variety of games and rides so there is truly something for everyone.

The regular arcade games you expect to see like car racing games.

And skeeball.

There were rides like bumper cars and frog hopper.

Miniature Bowling - so cute and fun! Plus the option to have bumpers.

Wheel of Fortune.

Speed of Light (Daddy joined in too)

And my favorite, Carnival type games where a prize is won every round!

This was really just a sample of all the fun GattiTown had to offer. There were so many games to choose from and even though it was busy the girls hardly had to wait to play or ride anything.

GattiTown gives you a card that looks like a credit card for your gameplay money so no heavy tokens to carry around. Plus for the machines that give tickets those are automatically added to your card as well. It was such a relief to not have to worry about tokens and tickets.

There was a wide variety of prizes to trade tickets in for. Everything from candy, small toys and stuffed animals to small pedal cars and even a tube that seats multiple people! The only complaint is that there were a lot of people trying to trade in tickets and only 2 workers. This may be due to the system they use for trade in but you could tell they were pretty frazzled. However, they were working fast and our turn did come up quickly.

Before we left the girls were able to get snow cones (also part of the Back to School Bash). They also offered face painting but we chose not to wait in line for that. The girls thought it was pretty cool that they had a cotton candy machine that you could use your game card on. We will use that next time since they had snowcones this time. The Birthday Bash also had giveaways every hour with a grand prize drawing at the end - super fun even though we didn't win!

GattiTown is a great spot for birthday parties too! They have multiple private party rooms and the kids get to pick a theme! So fun!

They also do meetings, field trips and other special group events. Just ask!

GattiTown has great daily specials such as Moms Eat Free on Mondays, Half price games on Tuesdays and Kids Eat Free on Wednesdays. Visit www.GattiTownAustin.com for complete details.

And September 25th they will be celebrating their anniversary with a great buffet special!
